Care
and Harvest Costs
Other than your initial payment to us, you will not be required to send any other
money for the care of your trees.
If you have us sell your
hardwoods for you, the costs of harvesting your trees and processing your hardwoods will
be paid out of the proceeds from the sale of your hardwoods. Also as part of our agreement
with you, we will deduct a small fee from the net proceeds of the harvests of your trees
as our compensation for the care and maintenance of your trees and managing the harvest,
processing and sale of your hardwoods.
Our care and management fee is
6% of the net harvest proceeds. Basing our fee as a percentage of your net harvest
proceeds reinforces our motivation to produce the greatest quantity of the highest quality
of tropical hardwoods for you, and if you choose to have us sell your hardwoods for you,
to obtain the highest prices for you.
